Rick Scheel lives in Comfort Texas with his wife Dede and youngest son Blake. He is the proud father of six children and eight grandchildren. He has a corporate leadership background in Information Technology, Healthcare and Sales.

Rick is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and will complete seminary in 2025 graduating with a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Redemption Seminary. He is an avid sportsman and loves to hunt, fish and participate in all types of outdoor sporting events. Rick currently serves on the board of directors at Forgiven Ministry and he and his wife Dede are leaders of the Texas Forgiven Ministry program.

Forgiven Ministry is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of children of incarcerated parents by conducting One Day With God camps in prison where children are reunited with their parents. Rick and Dede worship at Cibolo Creek Community Church where Rick serves as a volunteer in the student ministry and men's ministry. Rick is involved in numerous other charitable organizations such as New Hope Ministries, Camp Agape, Emmaus and Kairos. 

Shawn Lovorn received a B.S. in Biochemistry from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Following his undergrad degree, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2005 and started the Lovorn Law Firm, PLLC. As a litigator, he handles all types of criminal defense matters and family law.

Outside of his work at the firm, Mr. Lovorn serves as the Board President for Communicare Health Centers. His dedication to both business and community was recognized in 2024 when he was named the Businessman of the Year by the Boerne Chamber of Commerce
